Brooke’s Snowman! | Monmouth County NJ Children and Family Photographer | Tinton Falls, NJ
I woke up this morning to what looked like at least 2 inches of snow. The Philadelphia Engagement session I was supposed to have today got postponed until Sunday so… Foxxi and I bundled up and headed out to run errands for the day which included dropping off Lauren’s super fun maternity photos & checking out the wall space at Salon Du Monde – a stunning salon in Point Pleasant, NJ which is having a photography exhibit (including some of my work, yay!) on March 23, 2013. This is definitely my month for exhibits! By the way – Salon du Monde has MTV‘s original desk, so funky and cool!

When we got home, before starting my post-production party I stopped to take some adorable shots of my neighbors Brooke & Denise, who were building their first (and probably last – let’s hope!) snowman of 2013. And of course.. my little girl Foxxi got in on the action too. This way my first time using my brand new Nikkor Macro 105mm f/2.8 lens which I purchased yesterday after a wedding photography consult in Greenwich Village. There’s no place like it. Cafe Minerva was awesome..AND I bumped into Squad 18! I grew up at Engine 18, as my Dad was a FDNY fire fighter back in the days when it was still called Engine 18. The guys on the squad always treat me like I am family, so sweet!
