Amita + Amit’s Brooklyn Bridge Proposal | Kristen Driscoll Photography, NYC Engagement Photographer
Amit proposed to Amita yesterday at Pier 17, which has amazing views of The Brooklyn Bridge. He knew the bridge would be the perfect backdrop! Amita was completely surprised, thinking that they were coming to the pier to meet up with Amit’s friend. I acted like a tourist, sitting on the bench next to her’s, pretending to photograph my surroundings… until Amit walked her over to the railing. Go time! :) It is just as much an honor to photograph a proposal, as it is a wedding. I just know these two will have a beautiful marriage.
Originally we were going to meet nearby The Brooklyn Bridge so my (awesome!) assistant Christina and I parked in Brooklyn and walked over the bridge to the South Street Seaport. We arrived early and I had plenty of time to photograph the bridge during our walk, which I was excited for!
Amit and Amita got engaged on March 24th, so it made sense to photograph the ring on the number 24 :)
What a gorgeous backdrop and view!
And on our walk back, after the proposal, there were signs of love all around.
